Adopting a Greyhound

We are working hard to rescue as many greyhounds as we can and place them in wonderful homes like yours.

Our most sincere wish is that we can rescue many greyhounds and place them in wonderful forever homes. For this reason, we are committed to ensuring that each home is ready for the responsibility of owning a greyhound. Greyhounds, while beautiful and wonderful pets, are not the right pet for everyone.

Process

  • Fill out an adoption application.
  • Print and send the application by mail with your $50.00 deposit. This deposit is used as part of your adoption fee.
  • An adoption representative will contact you to set up a home visit. The purpose of the home visit is to talk with you and your family in order to ensure we are making the best possible match.
  • We recommend that adoptive homes purchase a crate to help the greyhound adjust to life in a loving home.
  • After completing these steps successfully you are off to the races! – so to speak. Your new family member is just around the next bend.

The cost to adopt a greyhound from our group is $650.00. This adoption fee is to help our non-profit, volunteer run group continue our good work. Your new family member comes with a brand new designer collar, leash, and muzzle, as well as some dog food.
